CUMNOR LOSE OUT IN THRILLER.

Cumnor Minors have had a fantastic season until the last month. In the last month, the league and Oxford Mail Cup have been lost to a couple of poor results. This was a big game for Cumnor. For most of the season they looked unbeatable. This required Cumnor to return to there winning ways.
Cumnor started well with both wings being used. A fantastic cross from Declan found Fraser who shot over. Cumnor were looking good but Windsor were starting to get into the game. Wrighty made a great tackle to stop a Windsor attack. Kieren made some great interceptions to stop some dangerous attacks.
Joe started the next attack. He moved forward and found Luke W with a great pass. He fired a ball into the box and Bradley just failed to connect with the cross.
Shaun set up Luke T. He controlled the ball and turned and fired the ball just past the post.
Both sides attacked and it was a very open game.
The first half finished.
The second half saw Windsor take the initiative. Robbie had to be on top form to stop a couple of Windsor attacks. Twice he had to make a great save to stop Windsor taking the lead.
Alex, also, made a great tackle to stop a Windsor attack.
Freddie had a shot that was blocked.
Another Windsor attack gave them the lead. A great shot saw Robbie have no chance. It was 1-0.
Cumnor pushed forward. They gained a couple of corners but the ball did not drop in Cumnor's favour.
In the last minute, Luke W broke through but, as he was about to shoot for goal, the whistle was blown for full time. A strange time to blow for full time.
The game was over. Well played Windsor Royals.
